A Patch Of Heaven is a family cottage industry originally born out of the desire to extend the education of our four homeschooled children. Nine years and a few starts and stops later ( including a shift to the U.S.A ) we bring you a range of original Kauri dolls, our own patchwork patterns and kit-sets, fabric, dried flowers and quality hand made soaps. Almost everything is made on the premises and is the natural over flow of our lives. We offer classes in patchwork, doll making, spinning, embroidery and knitting for small groups of 4-6 ladies for anyone wanting to experience the joy of making something themselves. Come, make friends and learn in the inviting environment of our 80 year old kitchen complete with antique wood range and a cup of tea or coffee in a bone china cup. If you are looking for holiday accommodation we also have available a quaint country cottage at our beautiful Patch Of Heaven lifestyle block situated up scenic Mount Tiger, 15 minutes from Whangarei city 5 minutes from Paura Bay. |
